RATxCHICKS Ceramics is for rad people who embrace unconventional beauty and enjoy collecting quirky art objects. Whether it's pigeons paired with toothbrushes or poodles and bananas, artist Michelle Im's ceramics seek refuge in humor and relishes in the absurdities of everyday life. A Korean American artist working in New York, she is known for her butter dishes (ironic as butter is not central to Korean food), trophy vessels, moon jars, vases, mugs and more.

Rabbits talking on the phone and playing in the fields and ocean; and carrot handles make this trophy vessel especially whimsical.
It is the year of the rabbit so RatxChicks artist Michelle Im wanted to create communication vessels, like a warp in time. “A kind of sending messages into the universe…talking about the universe. But they’re rabbits obviously,” she said. This dual sun jar is her interpretation of the Korean moon jar.
