Poet and the Bench Featured in San Francisco Chronicle Style Shop Talk. Wow!

Poet and the Bench and other businesses on and off Miller Avenue join together to form the Mill Valley Design District.

Braeda's artistic influence is rooted in fashion and nature; it is the interplay of color, pattern, textures and shapes that are transformed on paper to create a story. "I am fascinated by the way art gives us as the observer an opportunity to see a subject from a different angle or point of view that we may not have noticed before."

Poet and the Bench is excited to present "Beauty and Beholden," a series of monoprints by artist Braeda Horan. Opening May 14.

Poet and the Bench, which opened last year, is located on Locust Avenue⎯known as the town’s design district⎯and offers handcrafted jewelry for women and men, as well as pottery, fine art and other distinctive home goods. Bonnie Powers and her husband, Jeffrey Levin, are the proprietors of this boutique, and Levin creates many of the pieces himself.
