Melissa Holden is a Bay Area artist and printmaker. She employs both block printing and screen printing processes for her minimalist aesthetic. Shape, color, line, space, pattern and high contrast create the balance and counter point in her abstract limited edition prints. Melissa’s original illustrations in black and white communicate a delightful narrative with their distinct creative style, use of heavy black ink and white space. She additionally makes block prints as well as hybrid illustrations with block print pops of color. The minimal silhouettes and vignettes are charming individually, for any age, and we love them paired together and combined on a collage wall.
