Silhouette, line and surface allows Lisa Fleming to express her drive for order, beauty and form. These objects are minimal yet sophisticated, elegant, spare, almost austere. All of her work is thrown on a pottery wheel with porcelain clay and Lisa makes all her glazes and colored porcelains in her studio, firing in an electric kiln to about 2300 degrees.
