Esther Metals / Rings / Mixed Metal

These are Esther's narrowest hand hammered rings made for stacking, 2 silver and 1 gold. 1 silver ring has been oxidized black (note this is not a permanent technique and will patina over time). Esther uses an advanced torch work method called reticulation to create texture. Unique hammering and patina work are also utilized to unveil the contrasts and forms which communicate her story. Her work is a reflection of a passion to honestly express herself through art, inspired by the sacred natural world around all of us. Each design is handmade and unique, therefore the item shipped may look a bit different from the images here.

After earning her metalsmithing degree at Montana State University, Esther Sullivan honed her craft working with jewelers in Vermont, and launched her eponymous collection with a return to the scenic mountain ranges and expansive nature in Bozeman, MT. 

We met Esther in the Bay Area and were enamored with her metal work–the combination of 14K and 18K gold with oxidized silver and reticulation, hammering and patina techniques. Using tools handed down from her grandfather, each of Esther's jewelry pieces are individually made, giving them a one-of-a-kind feel. Beautiful pieces with just the right amount of edge.
