Elina Peduzzi was born in Uruguay and grew up in Venezuela. After a career in international relations, she came to the Bay Area for her Masters in Spatial Arts. As an artist, her practice revolves around making political objects: contemporary jewelry and small sculpture as instruments of questioning. Her jewelry collection also has a sculptural quality, influenced by her travels and wide world view. Combining fabrication and casting, her jewelry fuses ancient techniques with a contemporary and minimalist urban vibe.
