A collaboration in service of community brought Marin-based founders and hosts Bonnie Powers, Kasia Stiggelbout and Kristina Rudzinskaya together to provide both networking opportunities and encouraging lessons and insights from panel trailblazers in our own backyard.
From a birds eye view to curated questions related to the panelists' business this ambitious team hopes you leave with at least one take away that inspires an action.
The first session dives into the “journey” of entrepreneurship from "0 to today." Panelists are a stellar lineup of founders:
- Lily Kanter, a serial entrepreneur with 5 start-ups including Serena & Lily, Boon Supply, and most recently Averylily
- Christin Powell, founder of Kinship, the clean skincare products, incorporating plant-based medicine, nutrition, and holistic health principles
- Keira Kotler, the visionary behind Everviolet, an intimate apparel collection designed for women navigating various life-altering experiences
- Justine Kahn founder of Botnia Skincare, a science-backed collection of skin care with potent, raw ingredients, each uniquely blended to cater to specific skin types
Subsequent panels may cover topics such as fundraising, marketing, non-profit status, community engagement (including a session inviting men supporting women), the artist journey and other relevant subjects.
Your hosts bring insights and experience from corporate pivots:
- Bonnie Powers moved from her 30 year career running branding, design and innovation consultancies to opening the mixed use retail and gallery space Poet and/the Bench in Mill Valley with her jewelry designer husband. Poet and/the Bench is a rare find of a lifestyle shop with a highly edited selection of small batch and one of a kind home goods, art, jewelry and apothecary supporting more than 60 emerging and independent artists.
- Women’s wellness entrepreneur and podcast host, Kasia Stiggelbout’s journey shifted from product development, marketing, and operations to a Doctoral program studying Chinese Medicine. A graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, she now hosts the Nourish Podcast and is soon launching In Flow, a women’s wellness brand rooted in cyclical living for ambitious women
- Kristina Rudzinskaya led the quality engineering team at Slack before inventing Etalon, the smart posture apparel brand. With a mission to guide people towards alignment within themselves and the world around them, Kristina's innovative approach places the human experience at the forefront, transforming the often uncomfortable process of posture correction into an enjoyable and effective one. Her pioneering work has earned her accolades and awards.
