A former librarian, Amy Breed turned to art full-time more than 6 years ago. With Spacecat Ceramics, she uses whimsy and imagination to create a variety of objects. Mostly monsters, merging creepiness and cuteness in the best way that makes people happy and lifts their spirit. “I realized that if I made a monster, I could make it look as weird as I wanted. Humans sort of always need to look like humans, but monsters can be anything you can imagine.”
