Corona Virus Arts Relief Resources
We are in this together. All communities have been impacted by closures, cancellations, lay-offs, and other disruptions to business and life. As our connection is primarily to the arts and artists, we have started compiling resources here for emergency relief. We've also added arts-related ways to keep culture in your life while we Shelter in Place.
More than anything, stay healthy in all the ways we're learning will #flattenthecurve. And if there are any ideas you want to share to be included here, please reach out. #weareinthistogether

MAKE PROTECTIVE MASKS
Fabric face masks are being made by our local fashion designer friend, Jill Giordano of GrDano in Sausalito, and by crafters and do-gooders around the country. Jill shared pictures of her pattern and the final product, if you've got the skills, materials and time, lots of facilities need and are accepting donations.
Note, in order to be medical-grade (to correctly block particles and allow one to breathe) you need the correct fabric, which isn't readily available. Many facilities are without any type of masks at all due to shortages and are accepting tightly woven cloth masks rather than having no masks. Cloth masks are being used around the world as an interim solution for now.
MORE TO COME!
If you know if other resources, please don't hesitate to reach out and we will add to the list.
